On Saturday, September 30th, 2017 Falyn Morningstar and members of Hanover Environmental Outreach participated in a cleanup with numerous organizations; Dirty Worm, Environmentally Woke and Surfrider Foundation were a few.  As a group there were 175 pounds of trash collected.  It was a rewarding experience to connect with likeminded people in helping to keep our plant beautiful.
Codorus Blast 2017
Borough Staff Member Falyn Mornngstar is a part of the recently formed group HANOVER ENVIRONMENTAL OUTREACH.  They participated in a booth with Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards at the Codorus Blast this year.  The three day event was a success having many volunteers offer their time to inform the public on the topic of Aquatic Invasive Species..
CODORUS STREAM CLEAN UP 2017

March 8th through 10th, 2018 Hanover Environmental Outreach and Penn Township participated in the event sponsored by the Hanover Exchange Club. This group focused on the topic of "Rain to Drain" and it successfully impacted the patrons at the event.

Saturday, April 21st HEO will be helping to plant trees donated by the Hanover Rotary Club and Bartlett Tree Experts at the Long Arm Boat Docks.

Saturday, April 14, 2018 HEO participated in the newly created Green Clean Event along with Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards and Master Gardeners which was hosted by Main Street Hanover.  The group was pleased with the amount of public participation for the downtown cleanup portion of the event. This will become an annual Second Saturday effort.
