Role of the Borough Manager
The Borough Manager oversees the administration of all municipal departments of The Borough of Hanover with the exception of the Police Department.
Dear Hanover Residents and Business Owners,
The Borough of Hanover is a special place noted for its key role in American history, its world-renowned snack food industry and its location, only 45 minutes from Baltimore, with beautiful countryside in between. Hanover is a great place to live and work and is known for its small town feel and its bigger city amenities. For me however, Hanover’s most striking feature is how much Hanover’s citizens love their community.
The Borough Manager provides a central point of accountability for the administration of Borough government and a central point of contact to help Hanover’s citizens participate in local government. Please visit the Borough’s website and sign up to catch the latest Borough updates via the Notify Me platform (HERE). The public is encouraged to attend and make public comment at Borough Council’s meetings at the Borough Building at 44 Frederick Street. Borough Council meetings can also be watched live or recorded on the third and fourth Wednesdays of every month on the Community Media website.
Please do not hesitate to call the Borough at (717) 637-3877 for help with your Borough business and with your ideas about how to make Hanover an even better place.
You are always welcome at the Borough!
