Borough Secretary

The Borough Secretary is appointed or reappointed as a corporate officer of the Borough on even numbered years and is responsible for keeping the Borough's official documents and records, maintaining official minutes of Council and all committees, attests the execution of the Council President or Vice-President's signature as necessary, and affixing the Borough seal, certifying true and correct copies of documents, and notification of all public meetings to Council members and the public.  The Borough Secretary works directly under the Borough Manager to carry out all other administrative tasks as assigned, including but not limited to the duty of the Borough's official Open Records Officer.
